2023 Sunday at the Quarry

Save the date for the 2023 Sunday at the Quarry:  October 1st, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Morgan Quarry facility located at 4618 E. Donald Rd., Waterloo, IA 50703.  Free and open to the public, this event is for all ages.  Visit the bottom of the quarry and learn about safety and how quarries contribute to our economy. Participate in hands on exhibit booths about natural resources and conservation.  Collect rocks and fossils.   Sunday at the Quarry is hosted and sponsored by BMC Aggregates and with support from the UNI Department of Earth & Environmental Science and area organizations.
